BottleRock 2BottleRock Lineup

BottleRock

BottleRock Napa Valley is Northern California’s premier festival showcasing talent in food, wine, and music. Held at the Napa Expo, BottleRock features 3 days of top notch music acts, an outstanding selection of 60 musicians across 4 stages. Scheduled to delight the festival crowd as they sip on handcrafted brew are The Cure, Outkast, Weezer, Eric Church, and many more. But the music isn’t the festival’s feature. The best of Napa food and wine is sure to entice each and every festival go-er; after all the festival occurs in Napa Valley, the culinary mecca of the world. BottleRock brings together the finest of local food, from sushi to barbecue, to famous chef’ signature dishes. Iron Chef Morimoto is among the culinary lineup, including restaurants Tarla, Napkins, Me So Hungry Food Truck, and Mariposa Ice Cream. If you’re not rubbing elbows with the top chefs of California, then you’re probably enjoying a glass of wine prepared by the best of the best winemakers. Sip and savor your way through dozens of winery tents as you sway to the sounds on all four stages. Wineries showcasing their collection include Miner Family Winery, Cakebread Cellars, Bandit, and City Winery.

True to Napa Valley’s reputation for top-notch hospitality, BottleRock also offers some incredible Platinum and VIP Passholder perks only found in the heart of wine country. VIP and Platinum access provides exclusive lounges, culinary superstars, dedicated Platinum Rock N’ Roll concierges and a bevy of master sommeliers and vintners serving up exclusive wines. VIP passes offer upgraded stage viewing areas, access to the VIP Lounge with live music, lounge seating, exclusive food and drink options, VIP restrooms, a separate entry and exit gate, in-and-out privileges and parking. VIP packages spotlight Napa Valley’s renowned hospitality with a touch of extravagance and creature comfort to the weekend. If this hasn’t convinced you for an upgrade, then we don’t know what will. Experience BottleRock in style, and as a VIP.

We’re excited to highlight Moonalice, one of The Dirt’s music pick, who is performing live Friday May 30 and Saturday May 31! Moonalice is a band of seasoned musicians who feel that live music should be a communal experience where the listener and musicians feed and derive inspiration from each other. Their songs try to speak to everyone, mixing a variety of genres with extended musical improvisations that evoke a sense of adventure and exploration.

Band members include Barry Sless: lead quitar, pedal steel guitar, and bass, Pete Sears: keyboards, bass, and vocals, Roger McNamee: rhythm and lead guitar, vocals, and bass, and John Molo: drums, and vocals. Moonalice’s hit single “It’s 4:20 Somewhere” has been downloaded more than 4.6 million times, and it is hoped that they perform just around this time on Friday (the official set times have not yet been released). No matter when they play, BottleRock attendees are sure to enjoy their evening and thoroughly yell TGIF the whole day. Joining Moonalice on Friday are The Cure, TV on the Radio, Robert Delong, Matisyahu, and Sielle. Outkast headlines Saturday night as part of their 40-festival-tour this year. Accompanying Outkast are renowned rock bands Weezer and Third Eye Blind. Closing the festival are LL Cool J, The Fray, and Barenaked Ladies.
